Ancienne Belgique

First I heard about Arid was with "Too Late Tonight" and "Believer". I still sometimes shave in the morning to those tunes and boy do they lift me up ! Then somehow I blanked out until I found out about the two concerts at l'AB. Bought my ticket, and went ... and the question that now comes to my mind is why do we have to listen to Coldplay and U2 etc ... on the radio when there are folks like you around ? The gig was awsome. And I downloaded the album and it's just as good. One thing though: they all go on about Jasper's voice. He's indeed something else. But David's harmonies, Vladimir's base groove and Steven's beat (fuck, he's one hell of a drummer !) should be acknowleded too. I'll be seeing you in Leuven, then ! And I'm not even Belgian ...
